Toy Story 4
Toy Story 4 is not just a great movie but a great learning experience for both adults and kids alike. It is a super extravaganza of senses that is not just visually amazing and very detailed but sound that tests all your senses from loud rumbles to beautiful music. It is a 4k disc that plays to a great night in but a legacy of connection to a great movie that you and your kids could grow up with and continuously watch over and over.
The film is a balance of real life and extreme quality animation which plays tricks on you in building a weird comfortable environment that you think you are in but not. This is where great animation changes who you are and how you feel. Only very few animated movies play around in this area but Toy Story series is a master in this area.

Crystal-clear 4K resolution for stunning visuals with Native 4K resolution which makes for a really interesting and deep visual spectacle with strange details that makes everything feel a bit to real life.
Enhanced HDR provides richer colors and deeper contrasts which give the image interesting depth especially on the textures of the toys and the realistic feel in the antique store. The first flash back scene seems to be a little jumbled on colouration and on sharpness but it then gets sharp all the way through and almost a little to life like.
The lighting textures and animation is truly amazing and makes you question what you are seeing and thinking. It has also made the environments feel bigger and more structured with every texture showing through from extra marks on the toys to detail in wood furniture and especially the environment in the distance like at the fair.
The Audio
I know it has an Immersive Dolby Atmos offers a 7.1 channel audio experience but as I have a stereo sound system the sound is still amazing , clarity is amazing, voice depth and relaism is amazing from the lightest of sound from slinky the dogs metal spring to the rain and depth of rain you feel is absorbing. It bring great feel to the film.
The Randy Newman Songs & the soundtrack as always is amazing in all toy story movies but especially in this as it placed perfectly to bring the emotions when needed.
The Cast
Star-studded voice cast, including Tom Hanks and Tim Allen & Introducing new characters like Forky and Duke Caboom are not over doing it but necessary to develop how the movie changes to the next level with Bonnie.
What Makes The Movie
The perfect blend of adventure and comedy makes it great for the whole family but also adults which makes it very special and understandable to all.
Toys story series never disappoints but with High production quality with top-tier animation, sound engineering and visual effects this is not just a family go to but a movie made for picky people, geeks, cinephiles and even audio files as the soundtrack is just that engaging.
The main thing that they do in the Toy Story series is get a story and make the little areas count to change ethe emotional impact that you feel and how you feel it by being gentle in away. This is a talented and skilled team in all major areas that makes this come together.
The Overall Experience
This is a must have 4k disc for anyone but especially people that like sharp looking video and beautiful, emotion driven audio. It is critically praised for a reason as its audio and video quality is quality and on top of that the movie is great but not as good as the first one. As the first one was pure brand new animation magic.
These movies are a timeless series that will be cherished for generations even with a 5th movie in the works. This lives up to being one of the best animated discs around that you can watch over and over again.
