Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard And Soft
Billie Eilish – A Solo Artist Who Collaborates With Her Brother
Billie Eilish is a talent who grows in different genres as she changes constantly in the industry. Billie collaborates with her brother, and they are excellent together.

Hit Me Hard And Soft
The CD
This CD has something. Her voice is nicely placed within the music and it feels more smooth than the last album. At times her voice is a bit thin and every now and then her voice gets overtaken by the midrange sounds which makes her voice sound strangely recorded like being in a bubble with just no physical existence. This is not due to a lack of creativity but a slight recording overlook.

The Innovation
This is innovative music like always. The both of them try different things a lot and sometimes it pays off. This album has 2 great songs, some good songs and some songs seem to have missed but that is OK. The one thing is the album is never stale or heavily structured like the James Bond song which was too structured.
Her Voice

The Quiet Captivation
A very pretty voice but sometimes too quiet which is nice but can lead to being boring and some of her songs do this and this album has this issue as well.
I also believe the voice is getting new dimensions which are uncharted and that ‘Bad Guy’ rasp is not being worked anymore but becoming a much wider, slicker sound which you can hear coming through on some of the songs on the album. This is not about the words of Bad Guy but the vocal sounds used for the word.

Is The CD – Worth A Buy
This is an interesting CD which has its exceptional moments. It has some boring songs and some production issues, but it has something worthwhile. If you are a vinyl buyer, it is on Vinyl in orange color and I have heard it. So, did the vinyl make a major difference?
Not fully for what I expected but as it was on another person’s system, I cannot be fully sure. But the areas I expected the vinyl to enhance and become more organic in some areas it worked and did what I expected but some areas became a bit wishy-washy and confused due to higher frequencies. The CD on the other hand is cleaner to listen to but it does not have the full frequency response.
